Radical Remission™ Health Coach & Workshop Instructor Training

Are you interested in coaching and teaching others how to lay the groundwork for Radical Remission from a serious cancer diagnosis or life threatening illness?

My name is Kelly A. Turner, PhD. I am a researcher, writer, and psychotherapist who specializes in integrative oncology. For the past 15 years, I have shared my discoveries about the 10 healing factors common among Radical Remission survivors with workshop participants and coaching clients from around the world. Now, you can learn how to coach your own clients one-on-one and lead your own Radical Remission workshops on the 10 Radical Remission healing factors.

Our inaugural Teacher Training took place at the Omega Institute in New York in October 2017, certifying teachers from around the globe. That was followed by a second in-person training in New York in September 2019. Since September 2022, we have been offering our trainings virtually, which has allowed us to train coaches and workshop leaders from 12 different countries around the globe!

The Radical Remission Project is excited to offer a virtual Radical Remission™ Health Coach & Workshop Instructor Training again in 2025

At the training, you will gather the knowledge and skills needed to successfully coach people one-on-one through the 10 Radical Remission healing factors and to lead an experiential workshop that helps people:

  • Take charge of their healing process

  • Boost their immune system through diet, supplements, and exercise

  • Incorporate a daily spiritual connection and intuition practice

  • Increase their sense of purpose, reasons for living, empowerment and social support

  • Manage and release suppressed emotions, as well as increase positive emotions

You will leave with the readiness and tools necessary to coach people one-on-one and lead Radical Remission workshops in your own community.

John Henry is a lifelong educator and currently develops and leads training programs in his role as a STEAM, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) and Sustainable Schools Specialist at the New Jersey School Boards Association. His passion in his professional role allows him to help promote healthy schools for the 1.4 million children in NJ.

In 2014, John was diagnosed with hairy cell leukemia. Six months into his diagnosis, he discovered the Radical Remission Project. As a result, fear turned into hope and possibility, and new healing modalities came into view as John began following the 10 key healing factors.

He began by radically changing his diet, slowly integrated exercise, eliminated stress, and eventually added the other key healing factors. The results were a stabilization of the progression of the leukemia for almost 4 years. He is currently collaborating with HealTHY Life NJ, an organization whose mission is to support, educate and raise funds for late-stage cancer patients seeking integrative and complementary treatments. Through HealTHY Life NJ, John speaks to cancer patients and shares with them his journey and healing modalities. John completed the Radical Remission Workshop Teacher Training at Omega Institute in 2019.

Mana Washio is very excited to be part of the Radical Remission team. She was certified as a Radical Remission Workshop Facilitator in 2019 and certified as a Radical Remission Health Coach in January 2020. Mana is also certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a Reiki Practitioner / Master Teacher.

Mana went through her own journey of  surviving cervical cancer in 2009:  due to the strain of virus she carried, Mana had been told by her doctor that she was in the highest risk group.  She decided to incorporate major diet and lifestyle changes, and took many steps to improve her mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.  Although her doctor was quite certain that the cancer would return, there has been no reoccurrence, and at present, no HPV virus has been detected in her body.

Because of her own experience, Mana wants to spread  Dr. Turner’s research to many people in the world.  Her future goals include giving Radical Remission workshops / coaching opportunities to the Japanese-speaking population.

Liz-Curran-1.jpg

Liz Curran, a Co-Director of the Radical Remission Project, was inspired to become a health coach after caring for her sister with an aggressive breast cancer diagnosis in 2014. She watched her sister struggle during treatment with feeling powerless to aid her own healing. During that time, Liz believed that there had to be a roadmap out there to guide people to play a stronger role in their own healing. She believes Radical Remission is that roadmap. She later witnessed the power of lifestyle change firsthand, which motivated her to train to become a cancer coach. Liz has been moved to share her experience ever since.

In her practice, she takes an integrative approach to lifestyle change guiding others to release anxiety and cultivate resilience and calm that so often surrounds a diagnosis. Liz coaches her clients to break through limiting beliefs and implement “self-health” techniques to foster a balanced approach to life.

Liz received her certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, as well as the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaches (NBHWC), and the Forks Over Knives Rouxbe Plant-Based Online Culinary School. She enjoys working as a Holistic Cancer Health Coach, Certified Radical Remission™ Workshop Instructor & Health Coach, and Speaker.  â€‹She is deeply inspired to empower others to find their voice and play an active role in their health and recovery without feeling alone.
