Story

Briefly describe your diagnosis method and conventional treatments, including their timing. Did they help at all?

I had 1 TURBT and a number of laser removals during cystos.

Please tell us your healing story in as much detail as you would like:

IN TERMS OF...

DIET: I do not eat refined, packaged foods at all. organic veggies and fruit when I can. I have been drinking 1-2 cups of Kefir on a daily basis for the past 8 months.I do not eat wheat as I am intolerant but can eat gluten.

HERBS/SUPPLEMENTS: Apricot seeds, Amigdalina B17, Marine Phytoplankton 5000, Tumeric Extract 1500mg daily, Enzymes, Zink, D3 10,000IU daily, compounded Selenium.

MANUAL THERAPIES: Chiropractic alignment and ART for past year on bi-weekly basis

MENTAL TECHNIQUES: In quiet moments, especially month prior to quarterly cystos, I envision a clear, healthy looking bladder. I pray often. I try to "laugh" often!

CREATIVE THERAPIES: I paint but not often. Mostly in winter months.

THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONAL CHANGES: I cry easily and can be very emotional about all things in my life. I have also begu a support group for local bc patients.

LETTING GO: I no longer dwell on things I used to be totally bothered about. I try to be relaxed about any issues.

INTUITION: I felt that the constant cutting and burning of my re-occurances was dealing only with the symptom and that I needed to heal my whole body. I believed and still do, that what I'm taking and eating caused me to heal. I will continue protocols for remainder of life.

WILL TO LIVE: My will to live "healthy" increased!

CONTROL: I really had no control at the beginning after initial diagnosis, but as time went by, I started to read more, research more, and got serious over what went into my body. When my first 3 tumors disappeared, my uro told me to keep doing what I was doing, and allowed me to cancel his recommended TURBT for the remaining 4 tumors, which of course I did. 🙂

SOCIAL SUPPORT: My husband thought I was spending too much money on supplements, the head of my Canada-wide BC support group thought I was "playing" dangerously with my cancer and constantly pushed for me to do conventional, most everyone listened to what I was doing with raised eyebrows.... 🙂

Now, they are all looking at things differently! My husband has begun changing his diet and takes what I do seriously. He really did not believe that my tumors would dissapear on their own and was majorly supprised at the outcome! 🙂

OTHER: Diet can make or break us! My immune system was very crappy as I "caught" anything going and had been on antibiotics over and over.

Just over a year ago I did a six-week round of BCG treatments which my uro said didn't take.... BCG is often used to jump-start one's immune system to fight the bc.

Since diagnosis, I've changed my diet, but only most recently over the past 7-8 months have I learned what to do for my immune system with probiotic foods such as Kefir and Kimchi. I atribute these to my remission alongside my supplements named above.
